A few words about me

Hi there!

My name is Katerina but my friends and family call me Kat. I live in Greece & I love the sun and the sea! I started this blog back in 2015, while attempting to gain my strength back in book reading and wishing to make a few new friends along the way, both of which happened and I am so grateful. At the university I majored in history and my day job was tutoring highschool children all lessons from ancient greek and latin to literature and history. Yes, my lessons weren’t the most fun-tastic or beloved to be honest. So, I took a turn in my career and I followed the brown bean road. My job, nowdays, consists of travelling the world and drinking coffee.

Just a breath away from turning 30, I decided to start blogging again more actively about books and the adventures life throws at me from time to time. For fun, I enjoy watching movies, drinking coffee and playing tennis with friends. Oh, did I mention drinking coffee?

Bookbox hit me one night while I was finishing up a book and wanted to share my thoughts about it with someone, anyone really! And then I thought why not blogging about it? And there you have it … The BOOKBOX!

    1. It can be! Love teaching but I ‘m not so sure that my kids love learning. They hate ancient Greek so much because of the difficulty level and the amount of homework that it makes my job so hard at times. But I’m trying to make my lessons as fun as possible. To me, all languages are fun and interesting 🙂

  5. Hey Katerina, I just took a look on your blog and I think it looks really nice, visually and one thing that I really like is that you are pretty new on the blogosphere but already you have some discussion posts and you are really good at expressing yourself.

    1. hehe ok. Give it some time… I don’t regret my years of reading slump, because now that I started again I am enjoying it more than ever. Focues on the important staff, like your diploma and then you can read for fun. Don’t worry about it! 😀 And thank you so much, you are really sweet!
